Gather 13 bodies of martyrs in Thanh Phu, Binh Long commune

(BP Portal) - The Steering Committee implemented the regime and policy for fire civilians engaged in resistance against France, anti-America, war to protect the country and international duty (Directing Board 24) Binh Long town in cooperation with the Search and Regulation of the Soldier Balance (K72 Team) of the Military Command province just organized the search and gathering 13 martyrs at Group 9 , Phu Lac hamlet, Thanh Phu commune, Binh Long town.

From 16/3 to now, the above units have collaborated in search of Coordinates 9.17.78 of Group 9, Phu Lac Hamlet, Thanh Phu Commune. There, the force successfully found and assembled 13 skeletons including: hammocks, chrysanthemums and several other remains.

The names and fighting units of the martyrs are unknown. The search force of the military command of Binh Long town and the K72 team are continuing to expand the search area for dead remains at this location. It is known that in this area, prior to 1981 , the functional force discovered and had yielded the remains of 9 martyrs.

The Directorate board 24 Binh Long Towns and K72 Team suggested that veterans who had fought in the town battlefield could provide information to determine combat units and identities of the combatants.
