Ba Ra Mountain is situated in Thac Mo ward, Phuoc Long town, Binh Phuoc province, about 170 km far from Ho Chi Minh City and 50 km far from Dong Xoai city.
Ba Ra Mountain was recognized as the national historical relics on 20 April 1995 by the Ministry of Culture and Information. It is characterized by the height of 723 m against the sea level, moderate climate, and total area of 1,054 ha.
Ba Ra cable car is the tourism project developed by investor (Binh Phuoc Construction Co., Ltd) and inaugurated on 23 March 2010. Thanks to the imposing natural scene, moderate climate and diversified animals, such place is extremely distinct against other provinces in the region.
Ba Ra is also a special forest which is strictly protected and characterized by a wide range of precious woods such as: Dalbergia, Afzelia xylocarpa, Sindora cochinchinensis H.Baill, Hopea odorata, etc., with a wide range of precious animals. Thousands of turns of tourisms have been annually attracted by Ba Ra cable car tourism area.
