Conference on GIS application of land management and promotion of investment promotion

July 2, at Bom Bo Hotel (Dong Xoai City), The Department of Information and Communications in collaboration with VNPT Binh Phuoc organized a conference on GIS application of land management and promotion of investment promotion.

Attending the conference were representatives of the leadership of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; departments; People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities; related businesses
The conference was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang - Deputy Director of Department of Information and Communications and Mr. Pham Van Trinh - Director of VNPT Binh Phuoc, Chairman of Binh Phuoc Computer Association.

At the conference, the delegates explored and discussed to clarify the role of GIS (Geographic Information System - GIS, formed in the 1960s and widely developed in recent years);
It is to learn about spatial data infrastructure in building smart cities applying GIS in land management and promoting investment promotion in Binh Phuoc province; on solutions to accelerate administrative procedure reform, and building modern administration in Binh Phuoc province.
Deputy Director of Department of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Quang said: Binh Phuoc captures the development trend of Industry 4.0, as well as complies with and abides by the Party and State policies.

Binh Phuoc province is speeding up the implementation and initially building a dynamic city, integrated with the trend of the world in general and the policies of Vietnam in particular.
Binh Phuoc province is in the stage of investment and application of information technology in management and administration in all fields of economy - society, defense, and security. In order to build "e-government" to become more perfect, towards a smarter government and city.
“Through this conference, we have learned about the benefits of GIS application in management and the need to apply in the future to improve the effectiveness of scientific management, fast and accurate” said Nguyen Minh Quang - Deputy Director of Department of Information and Communications.
