The 3rd National Urban Planning Award 2023

(BP Portal) - The Department of Construction has just written requesting organizations, individuals and enterprises to respond to the National Urban Planning Award 2023 - VUPA 2022 3rd time (the prize held 2 years 1 time) according to the guidance at the Disclamation No. 19/2023/CV-VUPDA dated 2/3/2023 of the Association of Urban Development Planning.

This award was established by the Vietnam Urban Planning Development Association (VUPDA). The award is agreed by the Prime Minister and the patronage of the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam Trade and Industry Federation. The 3rd VUPA 2022 has added the patronage of the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The 3rd VUPA 2022 receives the contest from 01/3 to 31/5/2023; the scheduled donation organization from 01/6 to 10/6/2023. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held at the end of 6/2023 in the capital Hanoi and is broadcast live on the broadcast of Vietnam Television.

The granting of this award shall be made according to the general Statute, which is based on the evaluation of the quality and value of the work on the principle of publicity, democracy, transparency and objectivity and placed in the general context of the planning for urban construction and rural population centres in Vietnam; To ensure that the balance and harmony between the categories of awards honor to organizations, individuals and award honorary works is of a quality, bringing high ideological, artistic and social value according to the criteria prescribed.

The 3rd VUPA 2022 selected for the participating projects in 6 categories: (1) Category A - Planning projects; (2) Category B - Areas already invested in construction; (3) Category C - Planning publications; (4) Category D - Organizations and individuals engaged in management of urban development and rural population points of excellence; (5) Category E - Urban environmental quality; (6) This year's award adds the category F - Rural Planning (disasgregated from category A).

Participants are Vietnamese organizations and individuals, whose works are at home and abroad; organizations and individuals are foreigners whose works in Vietnam. Each organization, individual, group of authors can send multiple works to participate in the prize.

The rights of the winners include: certificates of award type with icon trophy by category; sea mounting for streets, urban areas ... have been built; the author and works published on the website, specialized journal of VUPDA; high value works will be petitioned by the Ministry of Construction and the Government of other special forms of reward.
