Speaking at the conference, Councillor Tran Tue Hien- the vice secretary of the Provincial Committee, the president of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province, said: Southeast Region 23.6 thousand km2, population over 18 million people. It is a dynamic, creative, innovative and innovative economic region, and has made significant contributions to economic growth, exports, state budget revenue and national employment. The south East has a thriving private business sector with the number of top enterprises in the country; It is the largest attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI), accounting for 41.1% of total FDI. Ho Chi Minh City, the core of the region, is the economic, financial, commercial, science and technology, innovation and innovation of the region as well as the country.

In the past years, an awareness of the position, role and importance of the South East region, the provinces and cities in the region have been active in renovating their thinking and vision, promoting their dynamic and creative direction, achieving many important socio-economic developments in their respective localities. This review conference was particularly important, and creates a breakthrough for the economy of each province, opening new opportunities to attract projects from Ho Chi Minh City investors to the region. The conference has also provided conditions for the linking in the effective implementation of Politburo Resolution 24 and Government Resolution 154 for socio-economic development and for ensuring National defense and security in the South East region until 2030, with a view to the year 2045.

Vice President of the People’s Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province-  Le Ngoc Khanh delivered an exchange at the conference and said: Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province has built the action program to implement, which will organize research to build 5 development projects to submit to the Prime Minister approval, including the project to develop Ba Ria - Vung Tau to become the national marine economic center and develop Vung Tau city into an international high-quality tourism center.

To date, Binh Phuoc has 206 projects of investors from TP. Ho Chi Minh, with registered capital of nearly VND20.000 billion; there are 2 Co.op Mart supermarkets in Dong Xoai City and Dong Phu district, there are 71 Bach Hoa Xanh utility stores in 11 districts, towns and cities. Cooperation activities on culture, tourism, health, education, media information and social security are increasingly good results. Thereby, it is possible to affirm the Program of socio-economic development cooperation between Binh Phuoc province and Ho Chi Minh city is very effective, contributing to increased budget revenue and solving many jobs for local labour, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of Binh Phuoc province over the years.

Binh Phuoc is a rich local revolutionary tradition and diverse in cultural identity, Binh Phuoc is situated around 110km away from Ho Chi Minh City, has an important role in the East-West economic corridor, is the bridge of economic, cultural and social exchange between Southeast and Cuu Long River delta with the Tay Nguyen provinces. Binh Phuoc is also a gateway to cooperative trade in the Cambodia-Lao-Vietnam Development Triangle area. With the advantages of large land, mild climate, flat terrain, convenient transportation, Binh Phuoc is always ready to welcome enterprises and investors to cooperate in investment and production in the province.

Vice President of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province - Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoang said: One of the characteristics of Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City and provinces in the Southeast region is the highest rate of immigrants in the country. This leads to the urbanization and socio-economic growth of each local, of the region also faces many difficulties.

Deputy Secretary of the Province, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province – Nguyen Thanh Ngoc said at the conference: Ba Den mountain tourism area not only has a role with the province but also the development factor of tourism in the East, or Moc Bai gate also plays a good role, affecting the economy of the region. If a local manages itself, it will be difficult to take advantage of that.

Mr. Tran Duy Dong- The Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment said that Southeast Economic and social development cooperation plays an important role in development links with other economic regions, having a wide spread across domains such as real estate, industry, agriculture, high technology application, tourism, health, education, information and communication, social security activities... Businesses have found opportunities and advantages in business development.

Comrade Tran Tue Hien added: Currently, Binh Phuoc has 15 industrial zones approved by the Prime Minister, including 13 industrial zones with an area of 6.065ha, is attracting investment with an average filling rate of 68%. Among them, Becamex - Binh Phuoc Industrial Park with an area of 2.450ha and Minh Hung - Sikiko Industrial Park 655ha, is 2 large-scale industrial parks, synchronous investment infrastructure, convenient transportation. "Ming Hung - Sikiko Industrial Park is recognized by VCCI as ""Typical Industrial Area 2022""." According to the plan to 2030, the total land area of the province’s industrial zone is about 10.000ha, including the Southeast Dong Phu Industrial Zone with an area of 4.200ha, ready to meet the needs of domestic and foreign investors.
