Dong Xoai considered adjusting the urban development programme

(BP Portal) - On the morning of 31 March, the Dong Xoai City People's Committee held an expanded session for review and approved the regulation of the urban Development Programme for 2021-2030, with a view to 2040.

Accordingly, the adjusting project shall build the list and roadmap for the construction of the urban development areas, including: new and expanding, rehabilitating and preserving existing urban areas; To set out urban development targets to meet a five-year and annual period; To propose a list of projects to prioritize investment in the development of the social and frame technical infrastructure systems, the technical infrastructure projects in order to connect the urban development areas with the common technical infrastructure systems of the urban; Determining capital plans for urban infrastructure (including technical infrastructure and social infrastructure); Tan Thanh Commune construction development investment reached 70% of the ward's criteria by 2025, and development investment to upgrade the Dong Xoai city reached category 2 urban criteria by 2025.

According to the project's portfolio, during the period 2021-2025, the Dong Xoai city has 144 structures in transport, technical and social infrastructure. Of these, 119 projects have been approved under the medium term public investment plan and 25 additional adjusted project projects. There are also 39 projects to attract investment. The total capital sources for investment projects in the period 2021-2025 are VND 34,833 billion (State budget capital of VND 17,517 billion; Socialized capital, called for, attracted investment of VND17,316 billion).

After the contributions and additions, the urban development plan Dong Xoai for the period 2021-2025 will continue to be fully updated to submit to the provincial People's Committee for review and approval, as a basis for implementation./.
