Binh Phuoc, 25 aspiring years

 

On January 1, 1997, the historic moment of the re-establishment of Binh Phuoc province marked a very significant day. That day witnessed the emotional scenes of people saying goodbye to their former agencies, colleagues, families, and relatives in order to go and work for the Binh Phuoc province, which, at that time, was still in its infancy. These officials, filled with passion and enthusiasm, were eager to develop this beautiful and highly potential land.

The people of Binh Phuoc, though concerned about the difficulties and shortages of the newly established province, welcomed this monumental event with great jubilation and had a firm belief in their new leaders as well as high hopes for the future of their hometown.

Despite all these emotional conflicts, both Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc shared the same determination to overcome difficulties and contribute to the development of the country and the welfare of the citizens.

Twenty-five years ago, on the landmark of January 1, 1997, Binh Phuoc Radio - Television Station broadcasted vividly the ceremony of the arrival of officials from Binh Duong to work in Binh Phuoc.

And in its first issue, Binh Phuoc Newspaper solemnly posted the list of the Provisional Party Executive Committee, Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, the leaders of Binh Phuoc province, and the important article of the People's Committee Chairman at the time - Mr. Bui Huy Thong, titled: "Promoting the revolutionary tradition, resiliently navigating challenges, taking advantage of the opportunities to transform Binh Phuoc to a rich and influential province".

In the very first days of the re-establishment, Binh Phuoc faced various difficulties, and life was hard for the residents. However, Binh Phuoc was honoured to receive the most generous and wholehearted support from the Central Committee, the neighboring Binh Duong province, and invaluable assistance from nearby provinces and cities.

Officials, party members, and people of Binh Phuoc had always stayed united, self-reliant, and creative to make stable progress. Gradually, people from all over the country came and settled down in this land and strived to contribute to the prosperity of Binh Phuoc.

Twenty-five years was a long time, but generations after generations, we had weathered those turbulent periods through persistently and creatively building a highly-developed Binh Phuoc. Citizens born after the re-establishment of the province have now reached maturity, inheriting and continuing the legacies of the previous generations.

Binh Phuoc is growing, day by day. The impressive changes in Binh Phuoc, our hometown, result from the solidarity, bravery, wisdom, and long-standing tradition of the Party Committee and the people of this heroic land. Thanks to significant and multifaceted achievements and breakthroughs in various fields, Binh Phuoc province has developed rapidly and effectively, contributing actively to the renovation process, and thus deserving the strategically economic position in the southern key economic region and the whole country.

The development of Binh Phuoc and Binh Duong today is the crystallisation of the wise decision of the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government of Vietnam. Lessons, as well as the achievements and experience accumulated throughout the years, will forever lie in the hearts and minds of Binh Phuoc people, stimulating their sense of responsibility, determination, and further growth.

The spirit and aspirations for the prosperity and happiness of the Party Committee, government, army, and people of Binh Phuoc province has grown and welled up in everyone's heart.

After 25 years of unceasing aspirations to thrive, Binh Phuoc has emerged and continued to rise to greater heights. It is determined to develop quickly, radically, and sustainably, making a worthy contribution to a mighty Fatherland!.
