Binh Phuoc implements policies to support rent to workers

(CTTĐTBP) - On 5 May, Under the authority of the President of provincial Peoples' Committee, Mrs. Huynh Thi Thuy Trang - Director of Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, presided over the online conference implementing Prime Minister decision 08/2022/QD-TTg of 28 March 2022 and the Provincial People's Committee's Plan 113/KH-UBND of 26 April 2022 on the implementation of the rent support policy for workers in the province. According to the content of implementation documents, the implementation of the policy of housing support for laborers working in enterprises, cooperatives and business households with business registration is divided into two groups: working and returning to work.

The eligible targets and conditions are: the working group in rent and lodging for the period from 1 February 2022 until 30 June 2022. There are labor contracts with no definite term or term defined for one month or more as concluded and begun to be performed by 1 April 2022. Being involved in compulsory social insurance at the end of the month before the business made a list of employees offering rent support. Support level is VND 500,000/person/month and up to three months.

The group returned to rent and lodging for the period between 1 April 2022 and 30 June 2022. There are labor contracts which have no definite term, or defined term of duration from 1 month or more to be concluded and executed for the period from 1 April 2022 to 30 June 2022, except for labor contracts in connecting and performing previous contracts. Are participating in compulsory social insurance at the end of the month before the employer makes a list of employees offering rent support. The support level of VND 1,000,000/ person/month is maximum of 3 months.

The dossier proposing the support must be on the list with certification by the social security agency. In cases where workers are not subject to compulsory social insurance participation, or newly recruited and hold labor contracts but do not yet participate in compulsory social insurance, the proposal dossier needs to be added to a copy of the adjacent month's payroll list before the enterprise makes dossiers.

The assistance shall be provided on the principle: Ensuring timely, appropriate, public, transparent and not to take advantage of or exploit the policy. No support for workers who do not recommend support. Where workers working under labor contracts for many employers, they are supported at the place of compulsory social insurance participation. Each object is only supported one time in 1 month and no more than 3 months. By this time more than 19,000 workers were offered by industrial parks with a budget of some 27 billion VND.

Record reception time from now to 15 August and support execution time will end before 30 September 2022./.
