The delegation of the Jeollanam Provincial Council, Korean visited and worked with the People’s Council of Binh Phuoc province

At the meeting, the leaders of the two provinces generalized the general situation of the potential, advantages as well as the limitations of the two localities. For Binh Phuoc, it is a province located in the southern key economic region, with a mild climate, large space, many potentials and advantages to attract investment. Currently, the whole province has 13 industrial parks, attracting 415 FDI projects, with an investment capital of 4,3 billion USD. In which, Korea is the country with investment capital in Binh Phuoc ranked second with 82 projects, over 800 million USD.

Stated at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council - Mrs. Huynh Thi Hang said that, on the basis of friendship and cohesion cooperation between Binh Phuoc and Jeollanam provinces, the Councils of the two provinces have had many activities in economic development exchanges and cooperation. This has been shown through the memorandums of cooperation and memorization that the two sides previously had the opportunity to exchange and create conditions for businesses in the two provinces to learn, cooperate and find investment opportunities.

Binh Phuoc is always ready to create all conditions to welcome investors. This is reflected in the fact that the People’s Council of Binh Phuoc province has promulgated decrees stipulating policies to encourage, incentive and support investment in the area. The province has also made efforts to improve and create opportunities for international cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture and agriculture; creating the most favorable conditions within the framework of Vietnam’s legal corridor to support foreign enterprises to cooperate and invest in the province.

Recalling the good impressions of the previous visit and working of the leaders of the two provinces, Mr. Jeon Gyeong Sun - Vice Chairman of the Jeollanam Provincial Council expressed his admiration when witnessing the economic growth of Vietnam in general and Binh Phuoc in particular, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. Mr. Jeon Gyeong Sun hopes that, from the potentials and available advantages of the two provinces, in the coming time, he hopes that Jeollanam and Binh Phuoc will promote long-term and sustainable cooperation in all fields.
