Binh Phuoc’s budget revenue increased by 6% over the same period

In the first 6 months of the year, the province’s domestic revenue was 4.544 billion VND, reaching 42% of the Government’s estimate, 40% of the provincial estimate and 106% over the same period. Although domestic revenue is higher than the same period, the revenue is still low compared to the delivery estimate. The implementation of provincial land auctions has faced many difficulties, land use fees and land rent have not been collected, which is the main reason for the low revenue. Through the implementation of inspection and examination, the total amount of tax and fines reached over 34.8 billion VND, an increase of 78% compared to 2023. The provincial tax debt as of June 30 is 2.661 billion VND, of which the bad debt is over 393 billion VND. In the last 6 months of 2024, with the estimated revenue still quite high, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee - Mr. Tran Van Mi suggested that professional and local agencies uphold the sense of responsibility, strengthen coordination, review and promptly remove difficulties and problems related to the determination of land prices, land rents, definitively handle tax arrears, strive to complete the collection and payment of the state budget according to the assigned estimate.
