Businessmen Association of Overseas Vietnamese visits and works in Binh Phuoc

At the visit and work, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee- Mr. Tran Van Mi quickly reported on the socio-economic situation of the province. Specifically, in 2023, the province is economic growth reached 8,34%, GDP per capita reached 93,94 million VND/person/year. In the first 6 months of 2024, the province’s economic growth rate was estimated at 7,76%, ranking 2nd in the Southeast region and 18th in the country. Binh Phuoc has preferential policies on corporate income tax, land rent, and site clearance. Besides, simple administrative procedures, one-stop mechanism creates convenient conditions for investors; technical infrastructure facilities are quite complete; abundant labor resources capable of meeting the needs of investors.

Talking to provincial leaders, Mr. Peter Hong -  member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Businessmen Association of Overseas Vietnamese said: This is the fourth time the delegation has visited and learned about Binh Phuoc. This time, the delegation was interested in learning about the field of agricultural economy and key agricultural products of the province. Specifically about the cashew nut production and processing industry, the promotion of cashew nuts to many markets; about rubber trees is Binh Phuoc’s strength. Mr. Peter Hong suggested that businesses build products that meet international, regional criteria or according to the tastes of each country and region to expand the market. Currently, the association has a good relationship in the markets of Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, the US, Russia... should encourage Binh Phuoc to have investment promotions to these markets. Currently, the Overseas Vietnam Entrepreneurs Association has about 500 members who are overseas businessmen from 40 countries and territories.

 

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee - Mr.Tran Van Mi said that the visit and work is an opportunity to exchange about the potential for cooperation connection between the Businessmen Association of Overseas Vietnamese and Binh Phuoc province. This is also an opportunity for Binh Phuoc province to introduce the potential, strengths, mechanisms, preferential policies, the image of Binh Phuoc’s homeland and people ''Harmony, gratitude, self-reliance, discipline, creativity'' to associations and overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs. At the same time, the province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for businesses in general and the Businessmen Association of Overseas Vietnamese in particular to cooperate and invest in Binh Phuoc.
