On the morning of 13/7, Prime Minister- Mr. Pham Minh Thanh, Head of the State Steering Committee of the national important projects and projects, the key transportation industry presided over the national online meeting of the 6th meeting of the steering committee to evaluate and discuss solutions to continue disassembling difficulties and problems to promote implementation of national key projects.

Attending the meeting was Deputy Prime Minister -Tran Hong Ha and head of relevant ministries and branches.

At Binh Phuoc, Vice President of the Province People’s Committee- Mr.Huynh Anh Minh and the leaders of departments, departments, branches, and People’s Committee of districts, towns and cities attended.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Prime Minister-Mr. Pham Minh Chinh said that in the term 2021-2026, the state arranged about VND 400 trillion for transport development. The projects are widely distributed from South to North, with the transport projects North - South, East - West and connecting 6 socio-economic regions. Therefore, the steering board must regularly review, inspect, and urge to complete the task set out.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee reviewed and evaluated the implementation of 31 important national projects, the key transportation industry with about 73 component projects in the Steering Committee’s mission including projects in the road, rail and aviation sectors.

For Binh Phuoc there is an investment project on construction of the North-South highway west of Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) under the task of the Steering Committee. The project is invested in the method of public-private partners and to implement the project, Binh Phuoc province has held meetings with Dak Nong province and investors propose the project on progress and review of the investment plan. So far, investors have completed the pre-feasible research report of the project, the Binh Phuoc Province People’s Committee has drafted the appraisal report, written in the opinion of the People’s Committee of Dak Nong Province and unified. The provincial People’s Committee has submitted the Government, Ministry of Planning and Investment to the appraisal organization reporting pre-feasible research of the project.
