Summer, a season of love

Summer is when students don't have to go to school and can stay at home doing activities they love, such as watching movies, reading books, and entertaining themselves. These are activities that students only have a little time to indulge their passions during the school year. Duong Mai Khoi, a Tan Tien junior high school student in Dong Phu District, expresses this sentiment. Meanwhile, Vu Thi Yen Nhi, a student at Phuoc An Primary and junior high school in Hon Quan District, shared: Summer is a time for us to rest, relax, go out and participate in summer activities, as well as have time to study gifted subjects. Therefore, summer is always the most awaited by students.

"I incredibly love summer. The summer rain showers, the buzzing sound of cicadas everywhere, and the vibrant red flamboyant flowers that adorn the sky will forever get etched in my memories. And this is also the time for us to rest, recharge, and embark on new plans," - enthusiastically shared Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi, a Tan Tien, junior high school student in Dong Phu District.

Alongside the joy of summer, there is still a tinge of sadness for graduating students. For them, summer is also a season of exams and farewells. It is a crucial period that opens up new paths, helping seniors feel more mature and closer to their dreams. Le Dinh Uy, a student from class 9A2 at Tan Binh junior high school in Dong Xoai City, shared his feelings: This summer has been extraordinary for me. It brings me joy as I complete my middle school education. However, I also feel a mixture of nervousness, nostalgia, and sentimentality towards the junior high school I have been a part of for the past four years.

Summer wishes

Tran Nam Tuan Anh, a Tan Tien junior high school student, expressed: I hope my parents will allow me to learn how to play football and swim this summer to improve my physical fitness and participate in talent development programs to gain more knowledge. Nguyen Do Ha Linh, a student at Tan Phu A primary school in Dong Xoai City, shared: I hope to have a joyful summer, that I can engage in meaningful games and learn many new things.

Participating in experiential activities is also the desire of many children during the summer. Le Phuc Tho, a student at Tan Dong primary school in Dong Xoai City, hopes to join training classes on becoming a Dien Bien soldier and a police officer, as well as attend skill development courses at the Provincial Youth Activities Center. Additionally, he wishes all children in the province to have a joyful and dynamic summer.

Summer is an opportunity for children to fulfil the plans they couldn't accomplish during the school year, such as travelling, learning their favourite subjects, or simply taking a break. Duong Mai Khoi from Dong Phu district said: I will take guitar lessons to fulfil my dream of singing. Meanwhile, Pham Phuong Thao from Dong Phu district will participate in activities like playing badminton, swimming, or flying kites to improve her physical fitness.

The summer plans have been made, and the children share a common sense of excitement and anticipation to welcome a fun and rewarding summer. With the theme "Joining hands to minimize harm to children," the summer of 2023 will feature numerous beneficial and enjoyable activities and playgrounds.
