(BP Portal) - January 30 afternoon, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - The party's central committee member, Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Committee, presided over a meeting to hear from the specialized agencies reports on plans for the organization of Binh Phuoc provincial investment promotion activities in 2023.

With the orientation of modern industrial development, leading service sectors are attached to environmental protection, with the focus on digital transformation projects, creative innovation, investment promotion activities during 2023 are carried out in Binh Phuoc province and abroad. Of this, four programmes to promote domestic investment focus on areas of critical importance in the province: waste treatment, domestic wastewater treatment and promotion of tourism development.

The foreign investment promotion program will be specifically aimed at effectively exploiting the opportunities, trends in reconstructing the global supply chain from traditional markets and partners such as China, Korea, Japan. At the same time, the extension promotes attracting investment among the member partners of CPTPP and EVFTA agreements.

In concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized the meaning and importance of investment promotion in the local area that is being given such interest to many investors as Binh Phuoc. 

In order for effective and successful initiatives to be carried out together with the appropriate timing and place of implementation, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong suggested that the functional sector do well in the planning, prepare the resources to meet the investor's requirements. Promotion programmes should take priority in attracting high - tech agriculture, value chain projects from production to consumption. In addition, specialized agencies should consider mechanisms for using funding for promotion activities, and limit the mobilization of enterprise sources for socialization and corporate contributions when participating in promotion programs./.
