Binh Phuoc Provincial leaders visit and work with Jeollanam Provincial Government, South Korea

(BP Portal) - As part of the South Korean work program, afternoon On 14/4, Binh Phuoc Province working group headed by Member of the Central Committee, The Provincial Secretary Party Commitee - Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong visited and worked with Jeollanam Province, South Korea.

Reception and work with the delegation: The governor- Mr. Kim Yung-Rok; The chairman of the provincial Council -Mr. Seo Dong Wook, and leader of Jeollanam Province's agencies, departments and industries. Speaking at the meeting, Jeollanam Provincial Governor- Mr. Kim Yung-Rok stressed: Binh Phuoc and Jeollanam have many similarities, and there is great potential for connecting and developing cooperative relations. He hopes the two sides will take further measures to promote the cooperation between the two provinces in the coming time.
On behalf of the delegation of Binh Phuoc province, The Provincial Secretary Party Commitee -Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong thanked Mr.Kim Yung-Rok, Governor and Mr. Seo Dong Wook, President of the provincial council of Jeollanam for taking the time to welcome the delegation. At the same time appreciates the cooperation between Vietnam- South Korea in general and between Binh Phuoc province with Jeollanam province in particular in the past time. The Secretary of the Province of Binh Phuoc hoped Mr. Kim Yung-Rok would continue to support and promote cooperation between the two provinces in the coming time. In particular, support Binh Phuoc province in connecting, introducing, selecting Korean investors with reputation, experience to survey, implementing investment projects in accordance with Binh Phuoc’s potential, strengths as well as organizing art delegations to the province to connect and exchange culture.

The upgrading of relations to the strategic cooperation Partnership in 10/2009 marked an important milestone, contributing to promoting greater cooperation between Vietnam - South Korea.

In the case of Binh Phuoc Province, over the years, friendly and cooperative relations between Binh Phuoc and Jeollanam have been strengthened and strengthened. The two sides regularly maintain a friendly relationship, exploring each other's potential and strengths in order to sign a cooperation, promote investment, friendship and support each other develop. This is as evidenced by the two parties' signing of an international cooperation agreement: the memorandum between the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee and Jeollanam Provincial Council signed 25/12/2019; The intention of the letter of Cooperation between the Binh Phuoc Provincal People's Committee and Jeollanam Provincial authorities was signed on 30/8/2022 and the most recently, on 21/12/2022, the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Council signed the memorandum with Jeollanam Provincial Council.

The above practices have helped to strengthen solidarity and friendship between Vietnam-South Korea as a whole, Binh Phuoc Province and Jeollanam province in particular, to facilitate cooperation in economic and social fields, to create a strong environmental foundation for South Korean enterprises investing in Production Secure province, to expand business and to push for South Korean investors to come to Binh Phuoc and vice versa./.
