VND 1,000 billion is expected to be arranged to raise the capacity for health routes

(BP Portal) - On March 16, Mrs. Tran Tuyet Minh, vice president of Binh Phuoc provincial Peoples' Committee, chaired the 342 steering Committee meeting to hear from Department of Health reports on plans to improve the effectiveness of disease prevention and the ability to examine and treat people's disease. According to reports at work, Binh Phuoc province currently has 7 agencies and units attached to the department of Health. The district health service has 10 multi-purpose health centers, one preventive health centre and 111 commune, ward or township health stations. In addition, there are the rubber sector, armed forces medical, and private health services. The public health workforce is 3,788, of whom 238 have graduate degrees and 1,411 have university qualifications. For non-public health, there is one general hospital, 22 general clinics with 612 employees.

In the period 2022-2025, Binh Phuoc will focus priority on the investment of medical equipment in provincial general hospitals and provincial traditional Medical hospitals. To upgrade infrastructure and supplement equipment to provincial Centers for disease control and control; Binh Long, Phuoc Long, Loc Ninh, Bu Dang; Additional equipment is provided to 47 commune health stations in the province. At the same time, investing in individual investment in human resources training, development of commune health stations, district health centers in disadvantaged areas, borderlines, areas with large numbers of ethnic minorities in order to ensure that all people are eligible for health services... 

The total cost of implementation of the project is expected to be more than VND 1,000 billion. Of these, the central budget is about VND775 billion, the local budget is about VND275, 3 billion and public investment capital is about VND237.5 billion./.
