The plan to implement the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh Highway project

(BP Portal) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has an opinion on the plan and method of implementing the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh highway project.
 

For the proposal of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province and the opinions of the relevant ministries, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on the plan and method of implementing the project of the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh highway project, in Document No.4850/VPCP-CN, Deputy Prime Minister- Tran Hong Ha has the following opinion:

The People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province receives opinions on ministries and coordinates with the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc to determine the need and clarify the legal basis and plan to assign the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc as the investment management when separating the project through Binh Phuoc province into independent project and using public investment capital; review the investment costs ensuring the participating state capital ratio not exceeding 50% of the total investment, determining the missing capital of the component projects; and coordinating the lack of capital resources of the Ministry of Transport to agree on conformity with the full-length plan according to Decision No.1454/QD-TTg of 1/9/2021 of the Prime Minister to approve the Road Network Plan for the period 2021-2030 and coordination of implementation of the project.

Scale of Ho Chi Minh City -Chon Thanh Highway Project from Belt 3 to Binh Phuoc Province is about 60.4km long; of which the section from Belt 3 to Binh Duong province is about 53.3km long, passing through Binh Phuoc province is 7.1km long.

The project is cleared according to the planned scale with a 60m highway and finished highway investment has 6 highway lanes, 2 emergency stops and includes intersections.

The project has a passage through the Binh Duong province area is invested 2 phases. Phase 1 from Belt 3 Road to Khanh Van Bridge, Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen City, has a length of about 7.7km which is kept the status quo invested in the project DT.743 and DT.747B, has a total background width of 36m-38m (keep planning with the boundary 60m).

The section from Khanh Van Bridge to Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc province with a length of about 45.6km is cleared according to the planned scale (60m road road) and invested 4 full high-speed lanes (with emergency stop throughout the line); there is an investment of about 9.15km non-continuous road.

Phase 2 of the project is invested in the finished highway with a scale of 6 lanes of highway for the section from Belt 3 to Binh Duong-Binh Phuoc province with a length of about 53.3km./.
