* Position and Functions

- Department of Foreign Affairs is a specialized agency under supervision of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); functioning as state management agency on foreign affairs, the national frontier and territory according to Vietnamese law.

- Department of Foreign Affairs has legal status and its own seal and account. It is under direct and comprehensive guidance of the PPC as well as specialized guidance of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
