Department of Justice

- Department of Justice is a specialized agency under supervision of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); functioning as state management agency on the fields as follows: designing and implementing normative act documents; checking and handling normative act documents; disseminating and educating the law; executing civil cases; notarizing; certifying; nourishing adopted children with foreign factors; being commercial arbitrator; birth, death, and marriage affairs; nationality; criminal record; lawyers; legal counsllors; legal assistance; justice tests; mediating at grassroots level; auctioning properties; and other justice issues according to Vietnamese law.

- Department of Justice has legal status, its own seal and account, and is under guidance and management on organization and personnel of the PPC as well as specialized guidance of Ministry of Justice.
