* Position and Functions

- Department of Construction is a specialized agency under supervision of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC); functioning as state management agency on construction; architecture; construction plan; urban technical infrastructure; industrial zones; export processing zones; economic zones; hi-tech zones (including urban transport infrastructure; water supply and drainage; sewage treatment; illumination; parks; graveyards; solid waste in urban areas; industrial zones; export processing zones; economic zones; hi-tech zones); urban development; housing and government offices; real estate business; construction material; public services under Department management; and other duties according to the PPC’s authority and Vietnamese law.

- Department of Construction has legal status, its own seal and account, and is under guidance and management on organization and personnel of the PPC as well as specialized guidance of  Ministry of Construction.
