The Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Highway  opens new development for the Southeast region

(CTTĐTBP) - On the morning of 12/3, Politburo Commissioner, Prime Minister- Mr. Pham Minh Chinh presided over the meeting of Permanent Government with ministries, agencies, localities and related enterprises on the plan to invest in building the Ninh Binh - Nam Dinh - Thai Binh and Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc).

Along with the Deputy Prime Minister- Mr. Le Minh Khai; Deputy Prime Minister -Mr. Tran Hong Ha and representative of the Central Ministries and branches. On the Binh Phuoc province there: Central Committee Commissioner, Secretary of Provincial Committee- Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Committee, Chairman of People’s Committee – Mrs.Tran Tue Hien; Vice President of People’s Committee- Mr. Huynh Anh Minh and representative of relevant departments, branches and localities.

Ninh Binh - Nam Dinh - Thai Binh Highway has an expected length of about 88km. Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Highway is nearly 129km long, belonging to the Western North South Expressway project, expected to assign Binh Phuoc Province People’s Committee as the competent agency to implement the project.

Speaking at the meeting, the Prime Minister- Mr. Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: Along with many highways being deployed in synchronous and positive throughout the country, the investment in construction of the 2 highways mentioned above is very necessary, in the spirit of public investment with focus and focus.

In terms of the mode of investment, the Prime Minister recommended investment in the form of a public-private partnership, combining central, local and corporate capital under investment Law according to a public-private partnership in a spirit of harmony of interests between the State, people and enterprises, "harmonising benefits, sharing risk".

The Prime Minister, the Head of the State Steering Committee of national important works and projects, the focal point of the transport sector shall add these projects to the list of development projects and projects.
