This was a practical implementation of the 11th Provincial Party Congress resolution and the 47th anniversary of Binh Phuoc's liberation (23 March 1975-23 March 2022). It is also an opportunity for companies, foreign and domestic investors to explore opportunities for cooperation.

As one of the southeastern provinces, Binh Phuoc has a large area of more than 6,800 km2, with a population of one million people. The province had a "gold population" of about 600,000 elderly workers.

Binh Phuoc has a relatively convenient transport infrastructure, connecting to Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast Provinces, via National Highway 13, National Highway 14, and DT (provincial road) 741, are fully invested with six to eight lanes of traffic and transport.

The province has 13 industrial zones with a total area of 4,686 ha and 8 industrial clusters with an area of 380 ha; Eleven of these industrial zones have been fully invested in infrastructure and are now operational. At present, the Prime Minister has approved the policy for Binh Phuoc to expand three industrial zones. By 2030, Binh Phuoc will continue its new planning and expand several industrial zones to an area of about 9,300 hectares.

Besides, it has the Hoa Lu International Bordergate Economic Zone, which borders the Kingdom of Cambodia and provides excellent traffic for connections to Laos and Thailand, covering over 28,300 hectares. Of this, over 3,500 hectares has been commissioned.

In recent years, despite difficulties, the province's socio-economic achievements have been important results, with key annual targets being reached and exceeding the plan; The people's lives were being further enhanced.

In particular in 2021, Binh Phuoc province's economic growth was 6.32%, in light of the Covid-19 epidemic, with Binh Phuoc being the highest in the South East and the 20th in the country. Per capita GRDP was VND74.9 million, and its revenue totaled VND13.675 billion, an increase of 18% over 2020.

Notably, Binh Phuoc province has received the interest of many domestic and foreign investors. In 2021, there were 63 foreign investment projects with capital of USD 514 million, an 88.5% increase in the number of projects and three times the amount of capital compared to 2020. Domestic investment was attracted by 120 projects totaling VND 12,000 billion.

The province has been vigorous in administrative reform, building e-government and achieving positive results. On the national Public Service Gate in 2021, Binh Phuoc ranked first in the country in three important content. That is, for connecting online public services to national public service gates, on online payment of financial obligations to land and on electronic authentication. To date, Binh Phuoc maintains this ranking above all other provinces and cities.

These results have been made possible by the close instruction of the Government and the Prime Minister and by the active support of the ministries, the central departments and the provinces and cities; Efforts by the party, the government, the people and the Binh Phuoc provincial business community.

In the development of the industrial area at Binh Phuoc, the joint - company development of technical infrastructure Becamex - Binh Phuoc was immense. It is the owner of the infrastructure investment of the Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial zone with an area of industrial land of over 2.450 hectares. After four years of implementation and appeal for investment, the Becamex - Binh Phuoc industrial Zone has now attracted 49 projects, with a total investment capital of more than $1 billion; They directly contribute to the budget of more than VND 1.700 billion, providing employment for more than 6.000 workers.

In 2021, all manufacturing activities and Covid 19 epidenmic prevention activities of the Becamex - Binh Phuoc Industrial zone have taken new steps to contribute actively to the overall provincial achievements. The industrial production value in the industrial Becamex- Binh Phuoc industry earns $130 million and increase 45% over the same period the previous year export value of $118 million, a 51% increase; Budget remittances are up 50% from the same period last year.

Provincial leaders shall honor and thank the IDC Becamex Corporation and the joint Stock Company for developing the technical infrastructure development of Binh Phuoc for selecting Binh Phuoc as the site for investment in the largest scale of industrial area in the province up to now, so as to change its economic structure and deal with labor and investment in making the Binh Phuoc budget actively.

And today, we are happy to see the opening of the Hayat Kimya company's diaper manufacturing plant and paper towels at Becamex - Binh Phuoc Industrial zone. The plant has a total investment of about US $250 million (100% Turkish capital) built on 32 hectares. The Hayat factory at Binh Phuoc was expected to be a mainstay, exporting about 40% of its total capacity to Thailand, Malaysia...

Construction began immediately after the outbreak of the first Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam, but progress in plant construction was uninterrupted despite numerous challenges. Hayat was one of the first firms in the province to implement the "three on-site" practice, in order to protect workers and maintain construction and construction activities.

The Hayat plant in Vietnam is designed to reduce environmental impact, conserve water, and save materials with zero emissions.

The company also invested in a 5.3 MWp (Megawatt-peak) solar system to make the most of the production line's operating capabilities. In particular, Hayat targets 6.5 MWh (megawATT-hours) of electricity savings as part of its commitment to sustainable development in Vietnam. Hayat tried fast the project and worked well with the local community.

Hayat's presence was instrumental in convincing Binh Phuoc's appeal to the world's major production corporations.

Binh Phuoc's party, government and people would be grateful to Hayat Group, whose land was the only investment destination in Vietnam.
