Binh Phuoc’s import-export revenue increases over 23%

(BP Portal) - Despite Covid-19, the southern province of Binh Phuoc’s import-export revenue surged 23.61 percent year-on-year in 2021 to 6.27 billion USD, according to the provincial Department of Customs.
 

 

With the concerted efforts and dogged determination of the local customs sector, the province shipped over 3.31 billion USD worth of products abroad, up over 20 percent compared to 2020.

It also outlaid 2.9 billion USD on imports, up 27 percent.

State budget collections were estimated at around 56 million USD, accounting for 110 percent of the target set by the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People’s Council and 104 percent of the goal set by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

This year, the Provincial Department of Customs will continue reforming its administrative procedures in a modern and transparent fashion, while sharpening its focus on completing all assigned tasks, comprising State budget collections, the settlement of tax debts, and the control of smuggling, commercial fraud, and counterfeit goods./.
