The Bac Ha White Plateau Festival in summer 2023

(BP Portal) - "The Bac Ha White Plateau Festival in the summer of 2023 has the theme "Plateau Dance"", which takes place from June 3-11."

The festival is organized to introduce the image of Bac Ha tourism to the provinces in the country; gradually restore the domestic tourist market, create special tourism products, preserve, honor and promote the cultural value of the ethnic communities in Bac Ha in particular and in Lao Cai province in general.

Reconstruction of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Bac Ha Horse Racing Festival is associated with the 16th traditional horse Race of 2023: The time held from 08:00 on June 3 (Saturday), the place at the stage in front of Hoang A Tuong Mansion. Representing the Intangible Cultural Heritage Bac Ha Horse Racing Festival with the organizing of a blessing ceremony for the Bac Ha horse Racing participants (only a brief representation of the ceremony in a form of review for visitors to experience and learn more about the value, the meaning of the horse race, the ceremony taking place between 5 to 10 minutes) and parade horse dance  on the Plateau, is meant to celebrate the species' bonding process towards the life and well-being of the Peoples and communities of Bac Ha District in labor. Fighting and defending the country and in the journey became an intangible cultural heritage.

White Plateau Street Festival: The time from 16:00 June 3, the venue at Bac Ha Cultural Market. Organizes the street festival in material of Bac Ha traditional costumes and ethnic Musical Instruments, performing to dance and color the Bac Ha White Plateau ethnics.

Festival's opening Art show: A time from 19:30 on 3 June, the venue of the stage in front of Hoang A Tuong Mansion. Organise the show art "Plateau Dance" at the main stage of the show, with its elaborated, exceptional performances, displaying Bac Ha's majestic beauty through the art of staging stage to express Bac Ha White Plateau dance through dance, lyrics, sound, light, culture and people.

Visiting and experiencing Song Lam waterfall: Time from June 3 to June 11 (mainly held on the 3rd day of the week associated with Ta Cu Ty market), location in Ta Cu Ty commune.  Experience Song Lam Waterfall, enjoy ancient san Tuyet tea, wild honey, and immerse yourself in the colorful cultural space of the Tay and Nung ethnics.

Visiting the 1.000-year-old Burretiodendron hsienmu tree: The time from June 3 to June 11 (main organisation on the third day of the week associated with Coc Ly market), the location in Coc Ly commune. Experience the colorful cultural space at the session market, the holy ceremony of the Dao people, Coc Ly commune, watch the thousand-year-old Burretiodendron hsienmu tree populations and enjoy the dishes processed from river fish of Coc Ly hydroelectric.

Visiting the Tay Ban Lien peoples community tourism experience: The time from 03/6 to 11/6 (main organized on the 5th day of the week associated with Ban Lien Market), the location in Team 3 village, Ban Lien commune. The experience of community tourism village and session market also retains the values of Tay peoples cultural identity, while enjoying 5-star OCOP organic tea favored by the EU market.

Visiting the experience at Kale farm: The time from June 3 to June 11 (main organized on Friday of the week associated with the Lung Phinh market), the location in Lung Phinh commune.
