12th Vietnam - Cambodia Border Provinces cooperation and Development Conference

(BP Portal) - On the morning 25/4, the 12th Vietnam - Cambodia Border Provinces Cooperation and Development Conference was held in Tay Ninh Province.

Deputy Prime Minister Of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam - Mr.Tran Luu Quang and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior of The Kingdom of Cambodia - Mr. Samdech Krolahorm Sar Kheng co-chaired the conference.

At the conference, Binh Phuoc party is represented by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party committee, chairman of The People's Committee - Mrs. Tran Tue Hien and Heads of departments and branches. The conference has adopted the central report on the situation of cooperation between Vietnam-Cambodia border provinces since the 11th meeting to date and the direction of cooperation in 2023.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister- Mr.Tran Luu Quang and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior Sar Kheng expressed joy over the positive development of Vietnam-Cambodian relations over the past. At the same time, despite the influence of Covid-19, the relationship between the two countries has remained stable, moving ever deeper and more into depth, efficiency and essentially under the motto "Good neighbours, traditional friendship, comprehensive and sustainable cooperation".

The two parties have agreed to cooperate closely in the effective implementation of legal documents related to the land border work in order to ensure at all times a borderline of friendship, peace, stability, cooperation and sustainable development; At the same time it was determined to maintain the pace of bilateral trade growth./.
