The delegation of the Federal Embassy of Nigeria greeted the leaders of Binh Phuoc province

(Binh Phuoc Portal) - On the morning of March 12, 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee - Mrs.Tran Tue Hien and the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee - Mr. Huynh Anh Minh, Mr. Tran Van Mi welcomed the delegation of the Federal Embassy of Nigeria in Vietnam led by Mr. Joseph Jonh Gargadi - charge d'affaires ad interim as the head of the delegation, who visited and greeted the leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Attending the meeting were leaders of the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee, the Departments of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Economic Zone Management Board, Center for Promotion, Investment, Trade and Tourism, Hung Nhon Group.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Joseph Jonh Gargadi thanked the warm welcome attention of Binh Phuoc province, and expressed his impression with the results that Binh Phuoc achieved. Mr.Joseph Jonh Gargadi said: With an area of 923.768km2, Nigeria has a lot of potential for agricultural development and attaches great importance to agricultural development to ensure food security for nearly 220 million people. Vietnam in general, Binh Phuoc in particular has great strengths in agricultural development, this is a great opportunity for Nigeria to learn Vietnam's experiences to modernize agriculture. Nigeria always wants to cooperate for sustainable development in the field of agriculture - It’s a field where Vietnam is very successful. After the visit, the delegation will report to the Government, hoping that in the near future, there will be delegations from Nigeria to explore investment opportunities, cooperate with Binh Phuoc to exploit each other's potential and strengths.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee - Mrs.Tran Tue Hien thanked the Federal Embassy of Nigeria in Vietnam for the attention to Binh Phuoc province when visiting the province and attending the “EuroCham high-tech industrial, commercial, agricultural enterprises connection Forum - Binh Phuoc province in 2024”. The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee said that Binh Phuoc is located in the southern key economic zone in 2023, the highest growth rate in the region, and agriculture alone grew by 10.25%. Binh Phuoc wishes the ambassador to connect for Nigerian investors to come to Binh Phuoc to explore opportunities, cooperate and develop.
