Thai Nguyen and Binh Phuoc exchange experiences on digital transformation

(BP Portal) - On June 13, the Binh Phuoc People's Committee working group, headed by a provincial Standing committee member, deputy chairman of the Provincial People's Committee- Mrs.Tran Tuyet Minh, visited and worked with Thai Nguyen Provincial to exchange practical experiences during the Digital transformation. Mr. Nguyen Quang Tien- The Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial welcomes and works with provincial Delegation Binh Phuoc. At the meeting, Mr. Le Quang Tien - the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen provincial presented a broad overview of the socio-economic situation, national defense and security, and the province's efforts at administrative reform and to improve the environment for business investment. In particular, the shifting of digital transformation, Thai Nguyen was one of the provinces that soon issued the seminal resolution for local leadership and comprehensive direction of digital transformation. To date, after 1.5 years of implementation of the resolution, Thai Nguyen has established the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC); Provision of over 2,000 administrative procedures (up to 100%) that qualify level 4 on the provincial public service portal; Implementing applications for the development of digital government and digital society such as: "C-ThaiNguyen", "ThaiNguyen ID", the Electronic Party Member handbook.

Thai Nguyen has also implemented the “Paperless meeting room” with regard to the conferences of the Committee level, the People's Council and the People's Committee from the provincial level up to the district level; There is a connection to the conference room online from the provincial level to 9 districts, cities and 178/188 communes, wards and towns in the province. The results on the three pillars of digital goverment, digital economy and digital society have had a comprehensive impact on all areas of socio-economic life in the province.

In determining the trend to Digital Transformation that will create a breakthrough in socio-economic development, on 31 December 2020, the Provincial Committee Thai Nguyen issued Resolution 01 on the program to Digital Transformation of years 2020-2025, oriented to the year 2030, set the date of 31 December as the date of Digital transformation of the province, decisive to the real government, economic and digital society by effective, concrete tasks, in which people and enterprises are the centers.

On behalf of Delegation, Mrs.Tran Tuyet Minh - the vice President of the Provincial People's Committee appreciated the socio-economic development achievements of Thai Nguyen province, especially those noted for the field of digital transformation.
