The centre initially pilots ten functions, including monitoring socio-economic criteria, public administration, transport, urban order, land management, environment sanitation, health, education, tourism, and hotline operation.
Tran Tue Hien, Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee, said as from September 9, all local data would be frequently updated serving the authorities’ management on socio-economic development, security, and order, in line with the Government’s Resolution 17.
The resolutionn issued on March 7 last year, covers a number of key tasks and solutions related to e-governance development for 2019 – 2020 with a vision toward 2025.
VNPT has so far signed agreements on IT and telecommunications cooperation with 55 provinces and cities. The group is working with 20 localities to implement smart applications./.
