The Center for Monitoring and Management of Smart Cities will operate in early June 2020

(BP Portal) - On May 6, Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh, Vice Chairman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, chaired and met the Standing Steering Committee to build an electronic government (e-government). Attending the meeting were leaders of Information and Communications, Binh Phuoc Police Department, Department of Transportation, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Education and Training.
At the meeting, provincial leaders heard the report on the progress of building e-government and reform of administrative procedures of the province.

Up to now, the provincial public service portal has provided information on 1,813 administrative procedures of the province,

Provincial public service portal has receive and resolve the public records of agencies in the province. The total number of public services that have applied information technology at level 3 is 823, and level 4 is 328.

In the first quarter of 2020, the province completed the data connection to the National Public Service Portal according to the schedule.

The province has connected 7 public services to the National Public Service Portal; At the same time, the province is translating public services related to procedures to attract investment on the provincial public service portal from Vietnamese to English.

The Center for Monitoring and Management of Smart Cities will connect and share data before May 29 and put into operation in early June 2020.

The project of building a geographic information system to serve the planning and technical infrastructure management of the province is also continuously updating and standardizing data for some districts and towns.

Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh highly appreciated the willingness of the units to connect with the National Public Service Portal in the second quarter of 2020;
Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh also asked the units to complete the review of administrative procedures to apply information technology to advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to sign and announce the new administrative procedure set.

Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to complete consultations with the Provincial People's Committee on the online document processing process before June 30.
